Downtown Youth Boxing Gym
The Downtown Boxing Gym is a nonprofit organization that helps Detroit kids realize the importance of academics and good role models. We assisted this amazing organization in selecting a new home and then renovating the boxing gym into a cool and vibrant facility in which Coach Khali Sweeney, it’s Founder and Program Director continues to change the lives of the youth in Detroit. North Rosedale Park Civic Association
The North Rosedale Park Civic Association is a nonprofit organization located in the North Rosedale neighborhood that promotes a strong sense of community amongst it residents. For 75 years, the Community House and its grounds have been the heart of the North Rosedale Park community. To commemorate it’s anniversary, NRPCA contracted the Donato Group to build a grand addition to their beloved community house. The new addition is a vibrant meeting place for fellowship, programming, educational opportunities and community event rental. The additional improvement will certainly be enjoyed by its residence and will continue to bolster their community as a neighborhood in which it’s residence will continue to live and flourish.
Arab American & Chaldean Council
Arab American and Chaldean Council (ACC), is a nonprofit human service organization providing services to the Middle Eastern and local communities in Southeast Michigan. ACC serves a unique population of immigrants and local residents by providing counseling, healthcare, employment training, job placement, translation, interpretation, immigration and youth services. Donato Group had the privilege of constructing ACC’s new office headquarters in Troy, Michigan. With their latest project, ACC once again committed to the revitalization of the 7 Mile neighborhood and community in having Donato Group renovate 110 West 7 Mile into a new local food pantry. Together with Forgotten Harvest, ACC is working to relieve hunger in the Detroit metropolitan community by holding a food panty program called “Pantry of Plenty” in which ACC distributes nearly 30,000 pounds of food for those in need.
Girl Scouts Southeastern Michigan
The Girl Scouts mission to build courage, confidence and character makes the world a better place and that is why the Donato Group wanted to get involved with this great organization. Being able to help with renovations of office space and campground cabins is just a portion of our affiliation with the Girl Scouts. Working alongside their property managers, we’ve been able to provide clean and safe facilities throughout Southeastern Michigan.
Eastern Market
The Eastern Market Development Corporation is a community-based non-profit development entity established to ensure that the Eastern Market District remains an authentic and diverse place for all businesses, residents, and visitors. We are proud to contribute by way of helping them with their design/build construction analysis and also with Real Estate consulting.
