GTJ Inc. design build of a 60,000 square foot office warehouse headquarters relocation in St. Clair Shores. Floors are shaved polished concrete with the open ceiling collaborative environment feel in the team room.

Since its founding by Henry Sherwin and Edward Williams in 1866, The Sherwin-Williams Company has not only grown to be the largest producer of paints and coatings in the United States, but is among the largest producers in the world. By remodeling the interior and exterior of this Michigan store, we are helping its image remain relevant in the community.
 

The Downtown Boxing Gym is a nonprofit organization that helps Detroit kids realize the importance of academics and good role models. We assisted this amazing organization in selecting a new home and then renovating the boxing gym into a cool and vibrant facility in which Coach Khali Sweeney, it’s Founder and Program Director continues to change the lives of the youth in Detroit. After unveiling the combination of industrial, modern, and natural reclaimed woods, Lusk and Albertson’s new office is the perfect example of a beautiful downtown renovation feel. The views are amazing in their new downtown location in Detroit across from the Renaissance Center. We could not be more excited to bring this collaborative workspace concept to fruition.
 

Detroit Trading Company is located on Forth Street in downtown Detroit. Donato Group stripped the 4th floor reestablishing it’s original grandeur. This process uncovered a maple hardwood floor over a tongue and groove Douglas Fir subfloor of which is now visible on the ceilings below on each floor. The building is one of the initial steel superstructures built in the early part of the 1900’s.

We have made significant stride in the way of green building as it relates to construction waste disposal, salvage & recycling, building energy management systems and equipment upgrades, lighting retrofit, heat loss analysis from the building envelope and geothermal systems.

Our team knows that analyzing a problem at a property before calling a contractor or vendor, unless there is a negative impact on health and welfare, is a smarter approach of which manifests a positive cash flow from the asset and a much happier property constituency. The easy way is not the best way in managing property assets.
